About the Prescription Pruning Qualification (PPQ)
The Prescription Pruning Qualification (PPQ) was developed by the Florida Chapter of the ISA in the United States, building on Dr. Ed Gilman’s work and leadership and the latest Best Management Practices: Pruning, 3rd Edition.
The Hong Kong PPQ events are organized andhosted by the Institute of ArboricultureStudies (HK) for the benefit of the arboriculture community across Asia.
Registration for the official PPQ Qualification Course and Examination willopen on 13 November 2026. The programme will be hosted in Hong Kong in 14–16 April 2027.
